Today's weight came in at 204, which gives me a total weight loss of 37 pounds.
I am now temporarily off of the diet plan, and am now attempting to "go it alone". I figure I would try eating on my own for a month and seeing how I do. I plan on still eating almost the same as I did while I was on the diet (which was mostly mixed vegetables with a small side portion of meat), the biggest hurdle I foresee is of course managing portion control. I constantly feel so hungry.
I would like to get down to 195 and then just maintain at that weight. For my age (currently 50 years old) and my height (6 foot 1 inch tall) I think 195 is a good reasonable target weight. I need to get and stay in shape so that I can survive and enjoy 50 more years. Even if I don't get down to my target weight of 195 I think I'm still good at 204 as long as I don't start gaining any of the weight back.
I want to thank my loving wife for inspiring and encouraging me throughout this weight loss diet plan. She has been a great supporter.
